Hi all,

Here is what Elise sent to me re; the SMMC facility.  They are adjusting the facility fee to $15 pp for the weekend in recognition of Cursillo’s volunteerism at the center.  I think that’s ok money-wise with our $250 pp donation.  Thoughts?  Everything else in the contract is the same.  

 

I would also like to ask Sandy, Jyl, Kevin, and Rob to work on the bylaws with me to get them in line with the 501 (c ) (3) application.  If anyone else would like to work on this document, please let me know.  This would be a special session(s) in the foreseeable future so that we can get this done expeditiously.  I will have Rob send both documents to you asap so that we can look them over at our convenience and come to the meeting(s) with your suggestions.  Thanks.

 

I will be putting in a pretty big order to the National office for booklets, crosses, Spiritual Director’s guides (these are disappearing from the kits and with deacons needing them as well as priests, I think we should put two guides in each kit).  This order will cover both Spring weekends, and according to Kevin, we are low on everything.  Anything else we need?  

 

The tri-fold pamphlets (1000 of them) have arrived, so we will be distributing them soon.

Dear Claudette,

 

Thank you for your patience! We are excited to host the Spring Cursillo weekends at the Saint Mary Magdalen Center on March 12-15 for the Men and April 16-19 for the Women! 

 

For your events we need the four attachments to be reviewed and signed: 

 

1.                Two Short Term Facility Agreements: Please read, sign, and email it back to me.

a.               After careful consideration, we have adjusted the Facility Fee to be $15 per person for the weekend in recognition of Cursillo's volunteer efforts! We greatly appreciate your help!

 

2.               Two Participant Release Waiver Forms: Every event participant must complete and sign this form. Once it’s signed, you can either scan and email it to me or mail the physical copies to our Diocesan address after your event.

 

We are waiting to hear back from our insurance company as to if and how Cursillo could purchase a Special Events insurance annually since you hope to have many events a year at Magdalen.
