Good morning,

Went to visit my dad, yesterday, and realized he was not in good condition.   He had pneumonia a month ago and hasn’t fully recovered.  

Tests and overnight exams show probable cardiac failure and water in and on his lungs, which has made his dementia quite pronounced.

So this morning my sister and I agreed this is not the life he wants to live, and the interventions are more invasive and extraordinary than necessary or he would want.

He’ll start Hospice on discharge.

Not sure if I’ll be back in time for the meeting, Wednesday, but will get a report to you.
