[Nh-secretariat] Fall REctor

Hi all,

I have been in contact with Diane Cantin re: Paul being our Fall rector, but unfortunately, he is not well enough to accept the responsibility.  Please keep him in your prayers.  

 

I have thus, spoken with Kevin Gauthier re: the position again since we discussed it at our last Secretariat meeting, and he is discerning with prayers and discussing with his wife, Laura.  He will let me know soon.

 

I had thought to ask Marc Parenteau, but I understand there are health challenges in his family right now, as well, so I didn’t think it was a good time to ask him.

 

I held off on asking Scott Kingsley until next Spring (which would be in Jyl’s sphere) and with the Secretariat advising her.  He is ready, but as in the past, we have not asked anyone closer than a year and half out from last team experience, so that we don’t burn people out… Spring would b 1 ½ years since he was Jim’s asst.

 

Please keep Kevin in prayer as he discerns being the Fall Rector.  I have also spoken to him about asking a couple of people to assist him in his role as 3 Day Coordinator, so that he is training people to potentially take over when his term is done.  It will also help him to organize with less distractions for the Fall weekend.
