Good morning all, I have spoken with Monsignor Marc Montminy, and he has agreed to let me speak before the Pentecost vigil at Saint Marie?s this Saturday about Cursillo! I am planning to photocopy a number of our trifold brochures to have on hand for people to take and distribute to potential Candidates for weekends. As you may recall, there were several years in which the roster data wasn?t kept because the Secretariat made the decision to not keep it for privacy reasons.   This Secretariat has made a different choice, so, as I?m trying to pull together a list of potential team members, I?m looking to update the data from the past several years so that we can potentially ask people who lived their Cursillo in the past 7 years or so.  That said, I?m missing some data and am hoping that you all have at least a copy of the email that Jason sent out for the weekends that are not marked as ?ok? below.

Rob has compiled a database list of all the teams within the past 10 years of Cursillo weekends, specifically the Rector/as and Asst.s for those weekends.  (thanks ??)  

Please look over the list and get back to me STAT with your first 3 choices so that I can invite our top picks to consider leading the Fall weekends. I have indicated my choices with #s 1,2,3, but to be honest I don?t know everyone on this list, so I am not sure of a couple of these choices.  ??

Nate Goodspeed- 2

Dave Griffin (is undergoing medical treatments, so I would not recommend at this time)

I did not consider asking a couple of the other men who have served, like Rob and Matt McSorley, since Rob just was the rector and Matt is ineligible while he?s on the Region 1 Service Team.  I also did not consider a couple others for health reasons and for those who have indicated that they were not interested in being a rector again, or who have just recently served on team (like Kevin ??).

Hi all,

An update for you.  Jim Bruneau has asked Scott Kingsley to be his asst. and he has said ?yes.?  ??  I am going to meet with Jim tomorrow evening to give him the kit and to go over everything with him.

Gloria Hayes has declined to be the rectora as she will be out of town and Rose Locke has declined due to health issues, so I have put a call into Jyl Dittbenner to be the rectora.  She was the rectora for #311 and has been on team with me with the new format.  I hope she will say yes, so please be praying we can wrap up phase one by the end of June.  Rob has completed the database for them to select possible team members and given them password access to that database.

 

I have received the contract from the diocese for the two weekends and will go over them more thoroughly today, as Rob and I were away for a few days last week when I received the email.  I did ask for clarification on the rate and Sandy has looked over the Insurance liability rider, so we will discuss that rate at our July meeting, as we have time to acquire those.  They are also asking for a form to be signed by everyone on the weekend re: participant release form, which I will look over, too.

1)  log into the site by clicking in the top right where it says ?Sign In?

2) Enter the username and password that I?ve given to you.   Generally speaking, your Username follows the pattern ?FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME?.   The first time you log in, it will ask you to set a password. If you don?t know/remember it, just email me.

3) Drop down the Home arrow and select the desired search report
?


Search Tips

The All Cursillista Search allows you to search for any Cursillistas in our database from Cursillo 1 to the present regardless of whether or not they were a candidate or on team.
The Team Member History Search allows you to search for anyone who has been on team before
You may search by Last Name, First Name, or Cursillo number in any combination that you'd like.  The more specific you get, the smaller the result will be.  
You can use % as a "wild card".  If you are looking for Joe Smith, but aren't sure if the First Name is under "Joe"  or "Joseph", you can enter "Jo%" in the First Name field and it will return anything that starts with "Jo".
You can use multiple wild cards in a field.  For example, you can enter "%sep%.  This will return anything that contains "sep" in the field no matter what the name starts or ends with.
If you want to see all of the people associated with a particular Cursillo, enter the Cursillo number.

I am still trying to clean up the data.  If you see something that is wrong / missing, please let me know so that I can correct it.

Hi all,

I met with Jim Bruneau last evening, and he and Scott Kingsley will begin to discern possible team members.  Do you have any suggestions for him from past weekends?  I suggested that he start with active Ultreya members and then speak with other rector/as.  He has access to the database now, so if you have any people you think might be interested to be on team, please let me know ASAP as time is of the essence for the Fall weekends (for team meetings, etc).  Thanks.  C ??
