Hi all,

See the answers below from Sean.  Also, I got a phone call this week from the Insurance Rider representative.  She told me that they have changed the policy, and for any multi-day activities that are less than 72 hours, they will consider a 1 Day event- so the price has been reduced from $720.00 to $260.00 for the 2 weekends.  Excellent!!  Sandy is sending new checks to them and they will return the other checks for shredding.

1.	Yes – we can find storage space.
2.	Off Campus is really not “near by”…we will need to think about this.  John – what did smoking staff or students do in the past?  Do we need a “smoking area”?
3.	Participant Release Waivers would need to be signed prior to attending.  They would need to be sent to the Diocese – Alyse might know who/where we keep these+
4.	Yes, we can lock buildings at night.  Participants would be locked out if they left the building, so we would need to make people aware.

 

We are very excited to see Cursillo coming to Magdalen this fall.  Thank you for helping us launch and for your patience as we learn how to do this together.

Hi Sean and Alyse,

Some other questions have popped up during our last Secretariat meeting last week.  Hopefully you can answer them for me.

 

1.	We have some supplies in bins we would like to leave on the Magdalen Campus between weekends.  Since we will probably be hosting Cursillo weekends at the Center in the future as well as this Fall, is there a locked closet somewhere in which we could leave our supplies?  There are both kitchen and general supplies bins that would need to be stored.

 

2.	I noticed in the agreement that there is no smoking on the campus.  If someone would like to smoke where could they go?  I’m assuming it would be off campus close by?

 

 

3.	3 part question:  Each participant on the weekend will need to sign the Participant Release Waiver- who keeps those documents?  Do we send them to the Diocese or keep them with us on the weekends?  When do they need to be signed?

 

4.	Our Fall Rector is wondering if there will be a key to lock the facility at night?

 

 

Thanks for your assistance with these questions.  My husband and I are visiting Magdalen on August 6th- perhaps a couple of other Cursillo team will be coming with us.  Enjoy your weekend.
